CONSCIENCE This EU-FP6 CONSCIENCE project was launched in 2007 continuing where EUROSION left off.  The aim was to enhance the implementation of scientifically based sustainable coastal erosion management in Europe. The scientific concepts and tools were tested in six pilot sites around Europe, one of which was Pevensey Bay. Completed in 2010
